All- vegetable based soap. Indian corn soap. Oval-shape with marbleized shades of desert tones. Fragrance is softly subtle combination derived from desert plants. Mildly astringent; tones, firms the face. Exfoliates, good for complexion! Creamy lather, also makes this an excellent bath and body soap. Corn (maize)- Corn has played an integral part in the life of Indians. There is an extensive mythology and legend concerned with corn, as well as veneration for the product both religious and otherwise. Some tribes looked at corn not only as a natural food, but a child of the gods and referred to it as such. The S.W. Indians used it as a food staple, corn itself, a special thin bread and dumplings. There are a number of celebratory rituals concerned with corn.
