Uva Ursi is a plant found in colder, more northern climates. The red berries, and leaves are used for medicinal purposes. Some Native Americans mixed Uva Ursi with tobacco and smoked it. Russia used the leaves for a tea. The berries were used for weight loss. It was also used for infections of all parts of the body, because of its asringent action.
Today it is most commonly used for Urinary tract infections.
Suggested Dosage: As a dietary supplement, take 2 or 3 capsules two times a day with meals or a glass of water.
