Vitex is a plant grown in the Mediterranean, and central Asia. Its dried fruit are used for medicinal purposes. Many ancient physicians would use Vitex for hemorrhage following childbirth, and to assist with the "passing of the afterbirth". It was also used in baths for the diseases of the uterus.

It is most commonly used today for infertility in females, premenstrual syndorome, acne, fibrocystic breast disease, and Menorrhagia (heavy menstruation).

Suggested Dosage:As a dietary supplement, take 4 to 6 capsules a day with meals or a glass of water.
