The white willow tree is grown primarily in central and southern Europe. It can also be found, however, in North America. The bark of the tree is used medicinally. Some of the more common uses for the white willow bark are for: osteoarthritis, bursitis, fever, tension headaches, and rheumatoid arthritis.
