American Health's Gestazyme Digestive 100Tabs
Description: Gestazyme is a scientifically formulated enzyme combination that has a dual phase delivery system, which allows its active ingredients to release into both the stomach and small intestine to promote optimal digestion and assimilation.Gestazyme Digestive Enzymes: digestive aid for protein, fat, starch. Gestazyme tablets are specially constructed to release pepsin, papain, amylase and betaine hydrochloride in the stomach where these factors are most active. The betaine hydrochloride provides hydrochloric acid supplementation to ordinary gastric secretions. The pancreatin (which digests protein, fats and starches) and the ox bile extract (which enhances the fat digesting activity and absorption of fat soluble
vitamin A, D, E and K) are enteric coated for release in the small intestine. The components of two tablets will digest approximately 25gm of protein, 35 gm of fat and 25 gm of starch.
