FEEL GOOD STUFF
Feel Good Stuff is a greaseless, non-staining, therapeutic cream that safely and effectively relieves pain, lubricates the joints and helps repair damaged
cartilage. While most topical preparations work at the skin surface, Feel Good Stuff works deep into joints, pinpointing its’ soothing, massaging relief
right where you hurt.
Feel Good Stuff’s natural, active ingredients include MSM, Emu Oil, Glucosamine, chondroitin, Arnica and Aloe Vera. This effective analgesic cream
provides natural pain relief for aching joints.
HOW DOES IT WORK?
Feel Good Stuff uses only natural ingredients that are known for their joint support and pain relieving actions. The active ingredients, Emu Oil,
Glucosamine, MSM and Aloe Vera, are combined with natural, herbal extracts to work synergistically to provide pain relief to affected areas.
Emu Oil is mixture of 100% pure fatty acids and is a significant source of the essential fatty acids, Linoleic and Linolenic. These fatty acids give the
oil unique surface tissue penetrating powers and also enable it to carry active compounds (like those found in Feel Good Stuff) through the skin where
they can have an effect in the body.
About forty years ago, Crown Zellerbach Corporation, a pulp and paper plant, assigned two of their chemists the task of finding a use for lignin, the
primary waste product of the paper plant. The scientists, Dr. Stanley Jacob and Dr. Robert Herschler, found that oxidation of lignin resulted in the
formation of DMSO (dimethylsulfoxide), a natural, organic form of sulfur. DMSO is a water-soluble compound that has a strong, bitter taste and is
easily absorbed through the skin. Plant workers who came in contact with the wastewater containing DMSO reported a bitter taste in their mouths
and also noticed that their perspiration smelled like DMSO. However, they also reported quick recovery from cuts and scrapes and improvement in
conditions like arthritis.
Because of its bitter taste, penetrating odor and skin irritation properties, DMSO never became very popular with the general public but people
continued to use DMSO to relieve many conditions, mainly those that caused joint pain. Because of the positive, pain-relieving results obtained with
the use of DMSO, researchers began looking for a more user-friendly derivative of DMSO. They found that the oxidation of DMSO was found to
produce MSM, a much more stable, organic sulfur compound that retains its’ medicinal properties without the odor and skin irritation complications
associated with DMSO.
MSM (Methylsulfonylmethane) is an organic form of sulphur. Sulfur is an essential mineral and is necessary for the production of collagen and
keratin; the primary proteins that make up hair, skin, and nails. Sulfur is also necessary for the formation of all healthy body tissues including bones,
joints, ligaments, connective tissue and tendons. In cartilage, the sulfur containing proteoglycans, glucosamine and chondroitin, form with collagen;
a fibrous protein substance that gives cartilage its structure and flexibility. MSM is an effective painkiller that works with many types of chronic pain.
It blocks the transfer of pain impulses through nerve fibers and blocks inflammation and inflammatory processes by enhancing the activity of cortisol,
a natural anti-inflammatory hormone produced by the body.
Glucosamine is an amino sugar and is a key component of cartilage. Glucosamine works to stimulate joint function and repair and has been proven
effective in numerous scientific trials for relieving osteoarthritis pain, rebuilding cartilage, renewing synovial fluid (the fluid that lubricates your
cartilage and keeps your joints healthy) and repairing joints that have been damaged from overuse, injury and conditions such as osteoarthritis.
Everyone produces a certain amount of glucosamine. However, as we age, the body loses the ability to make enough glucosamine to produce the
nutrients needed to stimulate the production of synovial fluid and keep joints healthy. Without enough glucosamine, the cartilage in weight-bearing
joints, such as the hips, knees, and hands deteriorates.
Chondroitin is a glycosaminoglycan (GAG) produced by cartilage and some other body tissues. It binds with cartilaginous collagen so the cartilage
can be strong, slippery and flexible. Chondroitin inhibits production of enzymes that break down and destroy cartilage.
Arnica, also known as leopard's bane, has been used in homeopathic medicine for hundreds of years. Sesquiterpene lactones, the active components
of arnica, are known to reduce inflammation and decrease pain. Arnica is known to stimulate blood circulation and is used externally for arthritis,
burns, ulcers, eczema and acne. It has anti-bacterial and anti-inflammatory qualities that can reduce pain and swelling and improve wound healing.
Rubbed on the skin, Arnica soothes and heals bruises and sprains, and relieves irritation from trauma, arthritis and muscle or cartilage pain.
Aloe Vera is a member of the Lily family and is widely regarded as a “master healing plant”. In recent decades, medical research has confirmed and
extended many of the health claims for Aloe Vera when used both topically or consumed as a liquid. According to the Journal of the American
Podiatric Medical Association, Aloe Vera may help prevent arthritis and reduce the inflammation in joints already affected by arthritis. Aloe may also
inhibit the autoimmune reaction associated with certain forms of arthritis in which the body attacks its own tissues. According to researchers, several
compounds from aloe showed anti-arthritic activity.
Use Feel Good Stuff for fast-acting topical relief of aches and pains of the joints associated with arthritis, simple backache, strains and sprains.
Just place a small amount of Feel Good Stuff on your fingertips and rub gently onto
the painful area. Use on your back, knees, neck, feet, hands, elbows, and shoulders
for effective, all natural relief, without aspirin and without burning!
