Acetyl L-Carnitine+Ala
Description: Acetyl-L-Carnitine Arginate (ALCA™) and Alpha Lipoic Acid (ALA) support the mitochondrial production of energy.* ALCA™ is a novel combination of the amino acids Acetyl-L-Carnitine and L-Arginine. Acetyl-L-Carnitine is found in high concentrations in human brain, nerve, heart, liver and sperm cells, where it participates in metabolizing fatty acids into energy by the mitochondria.*
Alpha Lipoic Acid is a water and lipid soluble antioxidant required by the mitochondrial matrix pyruvate dehydrogenase complex, which is the starting point of the Krebs or TCA (energy) cycle.*
Other Ingredients: Cellulose, magnesium stearate (vegetable source) and silicon dioxide. Capsule consists of gelatin. No wheat, no gluten, no soybeans, no dairy, no egg, no fish/shellfish, no peanuts/tree nuts.
Directions: Take 1 to 3 capsules per day, or as directed by your qualified health care consultant.
Warnings: If you have a medical condition (especially diabetes, glucose control, or hypotension), are pregnant, lactating, or trying to conceive, are under the age of 18, or are taking medications (especially for diabetes, glucose control, or blood pressure control), consult your health care practitioner before using this product.
