Specially Coated Bromelain is enteric coated to protect the bromelain from becoming active in the stomach and act as a digestive enzyme for food. The German Commission E monograph suggests 200-800 FIP units taken 2-3 times daily. A 500 mg tablet of Specially-Coated Bromelain has 2600 FIP units (or 1200 GDU) to ensure full enzymatic activity.

Take one (1) enteric coated tablet 2 times daily on an empty stomach, or as recommended by a healthcare practitioner.

This product contains no milk, egg, fish, peanuts, crustacean shellfish (lobster, crab, shrimp), tree nuts, wheat, yeast, gluten, or rice. Contains no sugar and no artificial sweeteners, flavors, colors or preservatives.
Warnings
Those on antocoagulants or antithrombotic agents should exercise caution in the use of bromelain. Bromelain may increase the bioavailability of tetracycline antibiotics.
